Heroes For Hire has been updated to 0.9.0.0!
0.9.0.0
Added:
- Added a pin to the orders popup, to allow quickly checking how close you are to completing an order without having to open the popup each time.
Other Changes:
- Added some things to prevent accidentally spam clicking and sending heroes off before they are ready.
- Alert messages now stay on the screen longer.
- Toned down a lot of the distracting flashing effects early on in the game.
- Projects now show when all members of the project group are on shift at the same time.
- Auto selection for raids has been improved.
- Loading a guide entry now scrolls the scroll bar to that point.
- Scroll and selection states are now saved across guide tabs.
- After the tutorial, the guild hall is now locked again until construction finishes.
- When a bed is removed from a hall, the hero will now stay in the room, but not get room related bonuses until there are enough beds in the room.
Balance:
- The Guild Hall now finishes construction after the guild has received $2500, or after 2 days.
- Projects are now unlocked after the guild has reached 125 reputation, or after 5 days.
- The guild now starts with $1250 instead of $2000.
- Random drops can now include money, from $25 to $75.
- Significantly less gunpowder is now dropped by enemies.
- Chests can no longer drop under "random items", this was causing loops of chests dropping chests.
- Heroes will now intentionally sleep in less.
- Spiders and mini spiders now drop a small amount more webs.
- Orders now unlock after 4 raids, up from 3.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the verify project option.
- A previous change to dungeon pathfinding wasn't working as intended and possibly making things worse in some cases.
- When popups can't be created because there's already a popup open, that popup will now be brought to the top of the priority list. (Was supposed to but wasn't working.)
- Dungeon members will no longer actually attack enemies that are already dead.

0.9.3.0
Additions:
- Added a new UI option, compact mode. When playing in a smaller screen, this will automatically turn on unless changed in the options menu.
- Added a small reminder for Ventura's "Get the Ball Rolling..." tasks.
Other Changes:
- The smallest size a window can be is now 900x720, though this is not reccomended.
- Some of the positioning of stuff has been moved slightly.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a crash related to dungeon orders.
- Trying to equip though the hero popup no longer tries to equip it twice, which was causing dupes.
- Guild metrics were not saving properly before, and now are.
- Reloading a file would rerun the current hour you are on, and no longer does.
- Fixed rescaling the UI in setup.
- Fixed some issues with resizing the window.
- Fixed a crash with the store.
0.9.2.0
Additions:
- Added a visual tracker for reputation and money! Double clicking on either will bring the graph up.
- Added some more Did You Know tips.
Other Changes:
- Tweaked the "Get the Ball Rolling..." popup slightly.
- It is now possible to spam click the guide to craft items again.
- Heroes with the "farmer" set are more likely to get resource drops, and team leaders are now more likely to get loot drops.
Balance:
- Tweaked the way guild rating is calculated slightly, as to not overly punish large rooms while encourage smaller rooms at the same time.
- Heroes now have a "sleep quality" that is based on how many other heroes are working when they are supposed to be sleeping. This determines how likely they are to have a bad sleep. Unhappy/Happy heroes are also more/less likely to have bad sleeps.
- Tweaked the formula that determines the maximum of exhaustion that can be recovered based on room stats.
- Heroes will now get at least one roll at resource nodes. Note, this doesnt mean they WILL get drops, as some of the nodes have an empty drop as a potential roll. This may be a bit overtweaked, during testing I was getting far more resources than usual but in reality it shouldn't be doing that much. May be nerfed in the future based on more testing.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a crash caused by hero related tips.
- Sick heroes no longer prevent the auto speedup from activating.
- Fixed a crash caused by Pharaoh Tensis.
- The tournament battle popup is no longer gargantuan.
- Fixed a bug where only one member of a guild team would get gathering loot.
- The price of gold and silver bars has been fixed.
0.9.1.1
- I was halfway through adding a feature when I found a large and almost unavoidable bug. There may be some bugs related to that.
- Fixed a crash caused by heroes using bombs when a raid map is pinned.
- Money rewards for orders before notice boards are placed are no longer always $3.
- Trying to send a hero off to train/gather now stops the auto start.
0.9.1.0
Other Changes:
- Crafted equipment should now more commonly be an item the guild (probably) needs.
- Room stats now impact the performance of service guests.
- Some parts of the game were saying that heroes worked 11 hours a day when they actually work 10.
- Instead of passing illness onto others when they wake up, heroes now have a chance to CATCH illness when they wake up.
- Crafting recipes are now unlocked when they are crafted, not discovered.
Balance:
- Hero base wages have been increased slightly.
- When unlocking a new raid with a tattered map, you no longer have to use another map to actually raid it.
- Before placing a notice board, the guild can now only recieve small orders.
- Basic (green, blue, red) potions and slimes have had their prices slashed.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a glitch with the crafting guide filter.
- Clicking to return to the game while paused no longer softlocks the game.
